---

1. What the Service is — and is not

1.1 The Service provides AI-delivered relationship coaching, education and support, optionally supported by a human counsellor.

1.2 The Service is not a substitute for professional advice, therapy, psychology or medical care. The AI is artificial intelligence — not a human, not a registered psychologist, and not a registered health service. It does not diagnose, treat or provide clinical or medical advice.

1.3 The Service is not an emergency or crisis service. If you or someone else may be at risk of harm, contact 000, Lifeline 13 11 14, or 1800RESPECT 1800 737 732. See clause 8.

2. Eligibility

2.1 You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. The Service is not for use by minors.

2.2 You must provide accurate account information and keep your login secure.

3. Your consent and the information you share

3.1 The Service involves you sharing sensitive information about your mental and relational wellbeing. You consent to our collection and use of this information as described in the Privacy Policy and Consent & Disclaimer.

3.2 You should only share information about other people (such as your partner or children) that is reasonable to share. You are responsible for the information you choose to provide.

4. Communal-learning model

4.1 You may opt in to allow your de-identified data to help improve the AI for other couples. This is optional, OFF by default, and revocable at any time. We never share your identifiable information with other users. See the Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

5.1 You agree not to: use the Service for unlawful purposes; misuse, attack or attempt to reverse-engineer the Service; impersonate others; or rely on the Service as professional, legal, medical or crisis advice.

5.2 You acknowledge AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate for your situation, and you exercise your own judgement.

6. Fees

6.1 Fees, billing and cancellation terms are [as shown at sign-up / operator to insert]. ⚠️ Complete before launch.

7. Intellectual property

7.1 We own the Service and its content. You retain ownership of the content you submit, and grant us a licence to use it to operate, secure and improve the Service as described in the Privacy Policy (including de-identified communal learning where you opt in).

8. Safety, risk and disclosure

8.1 If our systems or staff identify a serious or imminent risk to your safety or another person's, or content indicating child safety concerns, we may direct you to crisis resources and, where reasonably necessary or required by law (including Queensland mandatory reporting), use or disclose information to prevent or lessen the threat or comply with the law. See the Privacy Policy and Consent & Disclaimer.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

9.1 The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties.

9.2 Australian Consumer Law: nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where we are permitted to limit liability, our liability is limited to re-supplying the Service or the cost of re-supply.

9.3 To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions you make based on AI outputs, or for outcomes in your relationships.

⚠️ LAWYER SIGN-OFF required on clauses 9.1–9.3 — liability limits for a wellbeing/AI product carry real risk and must be ACL-compliant.

10. Suspension and termination

10.1 You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect users or the Service.

11. Changes

11.1 We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in-product and continued use constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

12.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the courts of that jurisdiction.
